The first aid convoy arrived in Syrian territory from the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, loaded with thousands of tons of food and medical supplies.
The official of the delegation of the holy shrine to Syria; Sayed Nafi' Ni'ma al-Moussawi, said that "the materials brought by the delegation include food, medical and other supplies, we hope this will contribute to removing some of the burdens from the shoulders of those affected by the devastating earthquake. Noting that the aid supplies are enough for a hundred thousand families".
"The first relief convoy for the Al-Abbas's(p) holy shrine included more than a hundred trucks loaded with (1102) tons of food, eight tons of Medicine, 20 tons of meat, and large quantities of clothing, furnishings and other relief materials,"he added.
The delegation began distributing aid to the affected people in Latakia Governorate in coordination with the relevant authorities, with the participation of more than two hundred members of the servants of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him), while other aid convoys will depart to Syria under the direct guidance of His Eminence the Senior Official of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine; His Eminence Ahmad al-Safi.
